I found the lovely lady that does photography in Cypress, TX! She is right up my alley for photography so we struck a deal!! I do have to say that her photo my Flower Bow looks 100 times better than the one I took with my old rinky dink camera!!

This was a custom Christmas Tutu, Onesie, and Bow I did for her as well. Doesn't she take such great photos!! Wish my daughter was THIS easy to photo!!

I have been pretty busy lately and haven't gotten time to do much! But I really wanted to get the Halloween pictures up!!

My sister and I made our little ones costumes and I love how her Abby Cadabby costume turned out!! My twins were fish and little miss LaLa was a witch.

Heather Bailey's Craft Room

I am IN LOVE with Heather Bailey's Craft Room! So much so that I went and found my own dresser and painted and stained it and now I have my own Heather Baileyish Dresser. LOL!

I've started working on my room again and my goal is a room as elegant as this. I even found a chandelier similar to her green one. Mine was all white when I got it and I've painted it pink and green.

Now I've just got to figure out how to take pictures more professionally! I've got a lot of work to do to my room, heck, my whole house still isn't finished, but I try not to think of it and just do it one at a time. NOT easy for someone like me who wants it all done NOW!!

Magnetic Alphabet Bottle Cap Sets

I have seen a lot of these magnetic "bottle cap" things going around and thought how need they were! But my daughter was way too young to wear them so I kind of forgot about them. I decided to make some to see how they would sell but I didn't have any idea what I wanted to put in the middle. So... long story short, my kids were playing with their magnets on the fridge and I had an "ah ha" moment. Why not a Magnetic Alphabet Bottle Cap set? I started with these and am hoping they sell. They have the super strong tiny magnets on them too! Not those thin black basic ones, so they won't fall of your fridge when you are shutting or opening it!! I've been looking at a lot of before and after blogs of late and so many of them have inspired me to try my hand at it myself! So, I have a quite of few that I've been working on and one of them is my daughter's room. She has black distressed wood furniture and it just never went with my "shabby chic" theme I had going on in there. So... I changed it! This is what the dresser looked like before...(sorry about the drawer missing, I had already started painting and almost forgot to take a photo of it before!!)

And this is what it looked like AFTER I worked so hard on it!!...

I still have to do LaLa's armoire and crib but am so worn out!! I'm working on her chandelier and tea table along with my work dresser for my craft room, which I can't wait to show!!

My Very Own Craft Room

With our new house, I've finally gotten a craft room all to my own! I've been slowly fixin it up and have a long ways to go, but, I thought I'd show some pictures of my favorite room!!

The blue desk was originally all red. I found it on craigslist for $12 and had it in my twins room but, when we moved into this house, I saw another need for it! So I spray painted it blue and then with a lighter blue paint from the Martha Stewart Collection at Home Depot, I made the drawer lighter. I painted all the frames too! I had the flower garden stakes from my daughters first birthday lying around and decided to mount them on the wall. I plan on painting the room also, just haven't figured out what color yet.

I got this desk off of craigslist too for $20 and spray painted it ivory and then painted the front of the drawers and top of the desk a light pink. I love it! I still plan on going in and spray painting the lamp and redoing the lamp shade.

This was my twins original changing table that I also went to town on. I just love all the colors! The hanging lanterns where from my LaLa's 1st Birthday as well and I wanted to put them to use so I hung them here! I had no place to put the Tutu's and decided to hang them from the bottom of the lanterns. Turned out pretty neat, I think!

Mommy's Little Model!

I decided to have a photo session with the little Miss LaLa and it turned out so well!! Even after she has given my camera a bath, the thing still WORKED!! Totally blown away by that, but super excited it decided to work still!! These are my Ribbon & Tulle Tutu's that will be going up on Etsy this week along with some new bows and The Pink Rocker Guitar Top. Yeah!! Hope you enjoy the pictures! I sure did and it gave me inspiration for her next birthday!! I'm thinking a very colorful 80's theme!! :)

Okay, I saw this and totally fell in love!!! I have started making dresses for our little LaLa and can't wait to put the pictures up! Oh wait... that's right... I don't have a camera anymore!!!! LaLa decided it needed a bath!!!! This one only last 3 months! Ugh! Got to get better at hiding it all!! LOL! Oh well, will just have to do till I find another.

So, I've been busy, busy with our new home and have been away too long from my blogging world! Between orders, decorating, and the terrible two's of my twins, it's been so CRAZY!

So, anyways, Sausha, over @ {Show & Tell} has this awesome redo of her laundry room that I think I will have to try! I don't have a saw, so I'll have to have Lowe's or Home Depot cut the would correctly. I love this idea and can't wait to do this! My laundry room is almost the same exact size and it would look so perfect!!

Custom Ruffle Butt Onesie, Mechanic Onesie, Blocks, & Bibs!

So I had a custom order for a couple of baby showers and a set of baby blocks and was thrilled to do as I chose to it all!! I had my LaLa model it all before it was shipped out! Here is a Ruffle Butt Onesie w/ a Layered Flower on front. I LOVE IT!

The Ruffle Butt is and will always be my favorite part of making onesies! i make them look real vintage and worn and they always come out so cute!

Mr. Tristan tried on the Mechanic Onesie and modeled for me. There is a car in front and a wrench on the back butt. :) I do think from now on I will be doing the boys onesies in color. Like a washed out gray or black or dark blue. They'll be much more interesting!

Next up where the Bibs to match the Onesies and again, Miss LaLa modeled the Layered Flower Bib!

I had a set of blocks also to make and I wanted them very rustic and old looking. I did realize that I hae to apply a sealer over Mod Podge though. These pictured were not the actual ones shipped. Since we live in the south of the great state of Texas, it naturally gets oven hot here! LOL! Well, the post office was my last stop of the day and when I got there, I realized that the Mod Podge had become tacky from the heat and stuck few blocks together! Ugh!! Back home and had to redo some. But, my mother showed me some kind of sealer to spray on and now they are done and gone. What a pain!! If only I had known that a BEFORE!!! LOL!

It's been a few since I've been on here but I've been planning my daughters 1st birthday and that has taken up so much time!!! I have two Tutus that she wore for her birthday and am so proud of how well they turned out! I started them awhile ago and just kept adding as time went on. I guess I was never fully satified with the outcome! But I am now!! If you are looking for a beautful and unique Tutu, such as one like these please let me know! Well, after my brief stay in the hospital, (some kind of infection in the tummy), I had no time to finish LaLa's birthday party and had to move it a couple of weeks ahead. We decided to take her out to dinner to the Spagetti Warehouse. Here is Little LaLa and Daddy!

Baby Shower Diaper Cake By...LaLa Petites!!

Well, I no longer have a camera!! Ugh!! It decided to poop out on me and has joined all my others in camera heaven! LOL. I was lucky enough though to get pictures taken of one of my very first Diaper Cakes. I had two baby showers to attend one weekend and had no idea what to give. Well, I kept seeing all these diaper cakes everywhere and though, "I can do that!" So, I was technically doing two at the same time, and with that being said, I call them BOTH my first. I only have picutes of this one so for though. This one was for my friend Amy who is having baby Jayden really, really soon. Isn't this so lovely!!

Such a sham that it has to be taken all apart to be used! I used tissue to wrap each level and then the ruffle around the edge of each layer is ribbon bunched up. I added Amy's baby shower invitation to it because it was WAY too cute not to and the colors matched.

My favorite part of my Diaper Cakes are the custom letter on the side. I used scrap booking paper and mod podged it on and Voila! Aren't they just the cutest couple ever!!?? CONGRATULATIONS on your bundle of joy to come!

So I had to put up the rest of the beanie caps I have made on my LaLa Petites Etsy store. Still have a couple to put up but almost there. I figured I wasn't TOO late since my Etsy store is all over and that it IS still cold in some parts of the world! LOL! I've been seeing these Fabric Flowers everywhere and decided to give it a try by putting them on a few beanies. I think it turned out rather cute!!

I also wanted to liven up the girls Guitar Beanie, so I added a few rhinestones to it! Yeah!

Of course, the girls need a cute and not "plain" skull and crossbones beanie too!!

IT'S GONG TO BE A VERY MERRY

UN-BIRTHDAY!

So I have been planning an Alice In Wonderland themed birthday for Miss Mykaylas's 1st Birthday for quite some time now. (even before the movie was to come out, I have to say! LOL) Anyways, I have found so many ideas!!!! I cannot wait till the birthday but wanted to show just what I had found and how I have decided to change the theme up a bit. It really is going to be a little more "eclectic", if I can, that is. Yeah!!! I can't wait!!!

I got my idea on the Alice In Wonderland theme when I first saw this picture on Etsy. Deborah's store, Champignons is so very eclectic! I love that word! "ECLECTIC" lol. Don't you just love this photo though!?

So, I started checking out more blogs and searching Etsy more and OMG! There is so much out there!

Donna over at Party Wishes did this absolutely gorgeous Mad Hatter Party!! I need to enlist my brother and dad into making something like these croquet stands!! AND the stacked TEACUPS!!

Then there was a photographer who took some wonderful photos of a Tea Party. Jessica Claire did the photos and they are awesome! The photos AND the party. This first one that I found on her site was so cute! It definetely gave me lots of ideas for LaLa's chair!

She also took photos for this party here. I soooooo want that centerpiece!! I wonder how I can make it!

I was also looking for decorations for the table and these little cuties caught my attention over at Pink Cherry Mama. They are so perfect!!

I've been seeing these cupcake holders around and over at Orange 1 I found these guys...

Of course I will need a hairpiece for myself and Miss LaLa and needed some ideas. I found this headband on Etsy with 3CraftyGirls... It's a zipper in the middle! How UNIQUE!!

I got the really pretty screen print and decided that I wanted to put it on my baby tops. So I started with just tops and not onesies and then decided, why not try a onesie? Well, I'm glad I did! I have been planning my daughters first birthday, which is going to be an Alice in Wonderland theme. No, I didn't even know that the movie was coming out but oh well. It kinda works out I guess for me since now there will be more out there for that theme. DIY Kitchen from a NIGHTSTAND!!??

OMG!! I spend way too much time on here!! Not enough sleep! But I so can't help myself... So, again I was looking at all the blogs I follow and Rachel over at Vintage Song Bird has the most absolute cutest revamp of a nightstand. She turned it into a kitchen! It had me thinking about Craigslist and how I always see nightstand and desks and tables for like $5 or $10. HELLO! This is such a simple and beautiful thing to do that I'm going to attempt this for my twin boys! The LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, playing with their fridge my parents got them for their birthday that they so need one of these. Like we even have the room, but I'll find a place to put this sucker!! LOL! I can't wait to make one and post it!

New Blog Look!

So I decided that I needed a fresher look for my blog. Something with a little color! I found an awesome background at Shabby Blogs and then went from there. It's like Alice in Wonderland meets Miranda! LOL. I totally love it and am going to have to redo alot when it comes to my business cards and other business related things but I'm glad I did! Hope you all like it!!

Revamping My Baby Bibs!!

So I decided to revamp all my bibs! They just all looked so plain to me! On the boys I decided to add guitars and ties and this is what I created! The ties are double layered with felt backing then I sewed the edges with a crisscross stictch. I applied them to the bib with fabric glue and viola!

Here's Mr. Avery modeling them for me!

In this one, I screen printed a guitar to the bib but still thought it lacked my wow factor. So I cut out another guitar and glued it on to make it look like a shadow. And again here is my Avery modeling the bib!

Now, with my girl bibs it took me a bit longer to think of something unique but I wasn't giving up. I saw lots of ideas everywhere but nothing really caught my eye till I saw an adorable bib on Ucreate.

It started to spark my imagination and then while I was on Etsy I found the cutest bow on a lady's shop called Daffodil Doll. Isn't it lovely?!!

So... I started thinking, and thinking, and thinking... and this was my creation for the girl bibs!

I even tried out a guitar for the girls bib too and another Viola!

Rocker Style Beanie Caps

I've finally got pictures up of these little cuties! They are my favorite item to make and look so cute on my daughter and neice! They are also very hot sellers at my markets that I go to. I wanted beanies for my kids to wear that were not only functional (i.e...kept their little ears warm), but also cool looking, and this is what was created! I haven't gotten pictures of the boys up yet. They all sold and I totally forgot to take pictures of them, but I will get some of them up soon. I'm realizing that I can only do so much in a day!

Here's my beautiful little neice Kinsley wearing the one I made her for Christmas. My sister said that she kept it on the whole time! Yeah!!!

And, of course, little Miss LaLa had to have one on too! This one is a little small for her and is made for a 0-6 month old but I wanted to model her in it still! Isn't she just so photogenic!!??

LaLa is also modeling the Guitar Beanie that is made for up to a 10 year old but she just looks so cute in it! She also has on my Guitar screen printed top and pants but, I haven't gotten those up for sale yet on etsy.

Of course the only way to get her to sit still so long was with bribery! Nilla Wafers are her favorite and did the trick!! LOL!

Merry Christmas To All!!

So it seems Christmas just came and went! Were does the time go!!! I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!! We spent Christmas Eve with the parents and the got to open lots of wonderful gifts!! The boys really enjoyed tearing open the presents the most I think! Here we are at my parents home!

Sad to say though that our tree was pretty much dead by Christmas morning! But it made it to the big day though, that is all that counts! Look at how nice and clean the floors are!

Then the twins came out and no more clean floors!! That's okay, they enjoyed opening the presents so much!

Finally Back!

Wow! So much has happened in the last month that I don't know where to begin! As I said before, my computer crashed and it took a bit to get it fixed but it finally did! Then with the Holidays and craft fairs I was so busy! I'm still busy...cleaning! OMG! The mess a set of twins can make, not to mention the mess the tree leaves as it's dying. LOL!

So... first up is my Wee Wuns craft show. I had such a great time doing this show and their were lots of people even though the weather was just plain horrible!!! My booth has grown since the last time I put pictures of it up here. I keep coming up with so many things that now I don't have the time to do them all. So I'll just do bits here and there and try to keep sane. But I do love how my booth has changed and all the new things that I've done and am still doing!

I also recieved an email from a very nice lady wanting me to do a football taggie in the LSU colors, which I had never done but I knew I could do it. I had enough fabric left over that I made a small pillow to go along with it. In the taggie I put stuffing, crinkle paper, and bells. It came out so CUTE! Off to a lovely home they went!!!

I was able to photograph most of my bows for my etsy site that I'm setting up but then realized afterwards that I probably should of put them on Mykayla's head so everyone could get a feel for the size of the bow. So... now I have to RE-DO them! Ugh! But here are what some of them look like, I'm so excited to get them on LaLa and get some pictures for Etsy!

I did get some pictures of what my toddler boy shirts look like with Avery in them! He is such a ham!!! Look out Calvin Klein here comes MY son! LOL

I've also done some hats, since it's winter time and all. There is only two here but I've been doing them for both boys and girls from NB to 8 years old so far. I've had such a huge response on these cuties that I've been stocking up on them just so I have enough to make when the orders come in. I've done skull and crossbones too and those have been going like hot cakes! I keep forgetting to get a picture of them!

I did try and get LaLa into some of the baby clothes so I could take some pictures for Etsy, but as you can plainly see, she wasn't having any of it! My poor little girl, such a rough life being waited on hand and foot! LOL!

She's not always so upset... See... Don't you just love the big bows!!?? I do!

I had to get Christmas photos done also but no way was I going to attempt the mall again. Last year we tried to get a family Christmas photo and it didn't even get close to nice. So this year I did them with just the kids. I do have to say that I have no thoughts of ever, and I mean EVER, becoming a professional photographer. I've got no patience! Thank God they were good that day!

Not Quite Back!

Well, I lost my computer a couple of weeks ago. Actually it decided to crash on me, so I've been unable to post any blogs. I'm sneaking on my husbands computer at work so that I can update it a bit... LOL! I had to bring the kiddos along with and aren't they so helpful?!!!

I'm hoping to have my laptop fixed soon but not to sure that it is fixable. UGH!!! I have been very busy making lots of new things for my LaLa Petites line and I must say they are coming out great! I've brought in more of the rock and roll and punk rock theme and can't wait till I get my laptop going so I can show you all what I have done! So please be patient while I'm under construction!

Bibs With LaLa Petite Flair...

So these are some of the bibs I made for the Market Nights at Cypress Village Station this past Friday. I have put my own twist on them some what.

I don't tuck the edges in and sew I just lay them on top on each other and do a zig zag stich all around. The edge are then frayed all around and it gives it a little bit of a "worn/vintage" look.

When I was sewing the velcro on I realized that I didn't like the spot were the thread showed and since I love rhinestones, beads...anything shiny, (I swear I was a racoon in my past life...) I went ahead and added some there. And that is how they were created! Enjoy!

Mini Satin Flower Clips

Well a while back I was looking around at all the blogs for some inspiration into childrens bows and I came across these Mini Satin Flower Clips posted on Ucreate. She always has the neatest things to make and so I decided to try it out. She had them posted from Little Birdie Secrets. I think I burnt my fingers more times than not trying to do these little suckers but I finally got the hang of it. Didn't they come out just lovely?

So Halloween has arrived again! This is actually all of my childrens 1st Halloween due to the fact that my twins got out of the NICU on Halloween the first year and on the second year they were very sick. Well we made it this year!! Little Miss Mykayla, The Crazy Twins, and Me and My Husband loaded up and headed over to my sister Chencha and her husband Brians home for some good old trick-or-treating. The twins took a power nap before we got their since they had to store up lots of energy for their adventure that was about to come.

Miss Mykayla became a fairy of some sort, sorry, she was supposed to be a ladybug but then I remembered that a ladybug is RED with black dots, not the other way around and it was already 4pm and I needed to get ready to go so she BECAME a fairy. Isn't that great? She became something else just like that! Sounds just like her on any given day! One second she's laughing and smiling and then the next thing you know she's pulling a Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde on us! LOL. Love her so much still.

The twins were Thing 1 & Thing 2 still and loving it!

My lovely niece Kinsley was a Tulip Fairy and oh so cute! My sister added all the ribbons to make her costume look just perfect! Isn't it wonderful?!

We attempted the photo of all the kids together but none of us could get them to either sit still or all look at the camera long enough for any one of the FOUR people taking pictures to get ONE!

We finally gave up on the "all together now" picture when Miss LaLa decided she was done and promptly flew forward off the step. Luckily I caught her and still managed to get a picture of it too! LOL!

We all piled them into the wagons and then it was off to Trick-or-Treating!

I was kind of afraid that the twins wouldn't take to well to it and get scared of the other kids, especially my little brother who decided to dress up as Frankenstein, but Tristan ran to him and wanted HIM to take him door to door! They were running from door to door and couldn't wait to get the candy! They even left their wigs on the whole time! They surprise me daily!

Little Miss Kinsley couldn't wait to get into her bucket as you can see here. Chencha and Brian had to take a packet of pretzels that she was trying to tear open out of her mouth!!

When all was said and done we had an awesome night. I couldn't have asked for a better Halloween. The boys got a bath and fell fast asleep on the car ride home...

I wonder what I'll make them to be next year.... :)

Market Night Update!!!

Well I had my first night with the booth and it was a blast! It was a slow night because of the rain the prior day but we still turned out winners!!! I was so excited to see my booth all set up and all my hard work finally coming together. Ya'll have no idea how exhausted I have made myself trying to do all this and keep up with the kids. Thankfully my husband was there to help. He cleaned and took care of the kids and never complained while I worked like a busy bee sewing and glueing it all together for my big day. He was so proud of me! How do I know you ask? Because he told me so!!!

Our proudest moment of the evening though goes to our crazy and wild twins, Tristan and Avery, for winning the.... Costume Contest!!! Those little boys won $100!!!! We are so proud of our little munchkins! Everyone loved, loved their costume! As soon as I put on their wigs people were stopping to look and smiling and laughing and saying just how cute they were. I couldn't have been more proud of them or myself. All my crafts took a backburner to this my friends! I love making crafts and seeing just what my little mind can come up with, but these little guys took precedence over it ALL! Trust me I have to force myself some nights to turn it off since I have too many ideas running through my mind to count. I've already got so many more things I want to make to add to my line! You'll just have to wait and see! But, back to my twins! I had such a feeling of joy when everyone commented on their costumes and how wonderful they looked. And to just stand their and watch them have a blast in it and not even know they were the center of attention was awe inspiring. Makes me miss being a kid and having no worries to speak of. Just look how carefree they are!

Burp Cloths by LaLa Petites!

I'm so excited to be making these ribbon burp cloths! Aren't they so cute?! I just up and decided one day that I need to share the wealth of my designs and that is where LaLa Petites came from. My lovely most beautiful daughter is named Mykayla, as you all know, and her crazy brothers could only say LaLa instead of her name. So, that is how I got the name La La Petites, because she is so small! I'm a genius... okay, not really, I had the help my my husband, sister, and mother. But I must say so my self that it turned out pretty swell!

So... It took me awhile to collect all the pictures but on the 10th of October my husband and I threw the twins a Thing 1 and Thing 2 themed birthday. Of course I always pick themes that there is nothing to find for in the stores or online so all that you see came from my head.

I love the way the invitations turned out! They took me a bit to get but once I got the hang of it it was smooth sailing from there... yeah right!

I decided to have a candy buffet/bar and am so glad I did! We had gumballs, m&m's, paper dots, and I made marshmallow pops too. I must say that I'm quite proud of how well it turned out!!!

We ordered the cake from Frosted Bakery http://www.frostedbakeryonline.com/ and it tasted so good! The fish bowl was made out of rice krispies and the inside of the cake was blue and red!! Yummy!!! Everybody loved, loved, loved the way the cake looked and tasted. So did I! YUMMY!

They also made two "smashbox" cakes for the boys.

We also got them a big ball pit with so many balls!! It was such a hit!

Even the adults loved the train! Hey, we're all kids at heart right?!

I made all the Thank You buckets too and am so glad that I made a few extra because I almost ran out!

I'm beyond thrilled the way it all turned out! When it was all over I so passed out on the couch! LOL! Here are a few more pictures from the party! Many thanks to all who came!! Mod Podge Blocks!

I found this really easy DIY Baby Wooden Blocks on the Martha Stewart website http://www.marthastewart.com/article/baby-wooden-blocks and decided to give it a try myself for my Mykayla. It was very easy to do and I used a glue called Mod Podge. It is awesome and works for everything! I just cut out the letters of her name and then her birthday along with some stars, flowers, and moons. I think I will try my twins names next!

We have finally gotten up the courage to get family photos done and we are so glad we did! We have found a photographer named Debbie Mayes of Englexas Photography. She is such a wonderful photographer! She is only 24 and is better than every other photographer that I have ever looked up. The boys, who never take to anyone, EVER, went right up to her. She had them laughing and playing and running around as if they had known her and had seen her everyday before. First Day of Preschool!

So Jason and I decided that the boys needed a little more interaction with other children their age and have choosen to put them in a two day a week preschool. Very sad indeed because this means my boys are no longer babies. What happened to my little baby boys? They are growing up a little too fast. To my joy they did not want to be left in the class room and kept calling out to MaMa. Yeah!!! They are still my babies!! Each day has been a little different though. The first day they did not cry till I got them in the room and now all I have to do is pull up and they know where we are and are screaming no. But they will eventually not even know I'm gone.

San Antonio Trip

So Jason and I decided to go to San Antonio for a late anniversary getaway, but Little Miss had to come along. The boys got to hang out with our friends Sheena and Jullian for a few days while we toured San Antonio. It was all our first time being there and quite an experience. We stayed at the Inn on the Riverwalk, which was a very nice bed and breakfast. Miss Mykayla modeled our bed for us and isn't it so cozy looking?

We decided to try out the zoo before we went to dinner and man it was so hot! I think we spent more time trying to hide from the sun than looking at the animals! The indoor aquarium was nice and cool though!

Next up was dinner at a place called Boudros and it was on the Riverwalk. The food and service was so great and such a change from all the other places we've ever eatin at. If you go to San Antonio you have to eat here and you have to have their strawberry mojito! Little Miss Mykayla got to show off her new hair bow and I must say she looked very "Couture"! LOL

The next day we went walking down the riverwalk and tried out the mall since it was much cooler in there. We decided to get Mykayla's ears pierced and I must say that she was a trooper. Doesn't she look so cute!

We finally got someone to take a picture of the two of us while Mykayla was asleep in the stroller!

At lunch Miss Mykayla decided to be funny stick her tongue out at us, I got it on camera along with a few others that day.

All in all the trip was great and we managed to beat the rain clouds that were rolling in as we left. I can't wait for our next trip and to be able to take my crazy boys along with!

Catch Up...

Man, I started doing this blog with the intentions of keeping up w/it but I haven't done such a great job. Well... I'm going to try it again. LOL! I totally missed 4th of July on here but am still putting up the pictures because I spent so much time making Miss Mykayla's Tutu & Hair Bow!

This was the only picture I could get of all the kids together. I swear, the boys have ants in their pants because they can never sit still!!!!

I've had some other pretty exciting things going on. My friend Sheena just got back from something called OCS, might be OTS, LOL! She is in the Marines and did this six week boot camp type thing and just graduated. It's to become an officer. I would have so quit the first night! But 6 weeks? Props to you girl!

The boys are waiting for their big boy beds so I can't wait to put those in and then redecorate their room now! But, I've managed to get about 90% done with Miss Mykayla's room and am proud to put up the pictures. It's so pink!!

Jason took the boys to a baseball game all by himself and I was very proud of all my men!

My niece Miss Kinsley had her first birthday and what a birthday it was! She was so pretty in her outfit and got lots of presents!

She went also just this past weekend went to Kemah for the first time with Mommy and Daddy and they got some great photos of her. She is such a big girl now!

Water Weekend!

The boys had such an eventful weekend! They had a playdate with their good buddy Jackson and got to play in the backyard with the pool and water table.

We found two new pool boys and furniture movers too! LOL!

Poor Jackson filled his diaper and got hosed off by his momma Lauren and then decided he liked his birthday suit the best!

I finally got some really good shots of Avery, who I can never get to stand still and even Mykayla was hanging outside with us.

Tobi decided too that he liked swimming after all!

Thanks to Jackson I finally got my boys in their pool. Way to go Jackson!

Then on Sunday we tooked the munchkins to the pool. They got to try out their new floats, but it took us FOREVER to get them in the pool. Once we did they were good to go.

Then it was time for me and Miss Mykayla to try the pool. She was great, as long as I held her very close, but once she was used to the water she was relaxing just like the boys.

She's gotta get her tan too guys! Just kidding, she was in the shade and lathered with sunscreen!

Jason took Avery and Mykayla home early and me and Mr. Tristan played around a little more. I have to get him floaties because that little one wanted nothing to do with me holding him. Which is great because I don't want them afraid of the water. We'll work on Avery little by little. I can't wait till this Thursday! The boys and I along with our neighbor Sheena and her two little ones are headed to the Children's Museum of Houston.

Memorial Weekend!

So... a little late posting this but oh well. We packed up the family and went to my sister Chencha and brother-in-law Brian's house Sunday. Too bad it rained! But we still had fun. The boys loved my cake I made which was really good. It had an oreo crust and filled with strawberries, vanilla pudding, wafers, cream cheese, coolwhip, and strawberry ice cream, which was all over my boys faces! They loved it!

I got to hold my niece Kinsley for a bit and even got a smile out of her. A pretty big one too!

But, she is still happier in her momma's arms.

This was Miss MyKayla's first Memorial Day but because of the rain I didn't attempt the water. But she looked perfectly content with her daddy holding her.

Hello World, We Have Arrived!

So, on account of my good friend Lauren, I've decided to start my own blog! As if I don't have enough to do already! With three children, my wonderful but crazy 20 month old twin boys, Tristan James and Avery Kaiden, and my very spoiled 2 month old daughter, Mykayla Aubrey, life can get pretty hectic!

How do I do it you say? Not even I know at times. But... I do know this, not one day has been the same and if you expect me on time anywhere... well think again! So, with three children you'd think I'd have enough? Nope, we have also got a Jack Russell Terrier named Tobi who I swear spends more time getting out of our fence and being brought back by neighbors than he does being in our house. I don't know whose name I call more, the boys or his!

I love making bows for my little girl and I started it all because my wonderful older sister Chencha had a beautiful little girl almost a year ago named Kinsley Alden and I knew she needed some pretty bows for her pretty head.

Too bad my first few didn't come out so great. LOL! I've gotten pretty good with them and I just love, love, love the huge bows on my little ones head. Thank god I got a girl this time, cause my husband was getting tired of me trying out the bows on my boys! Hey, they'll never remember, except for the few pictures I've taken and saved for their future girlfriends! :) I like to dabble in a lot of crafts, not really sticking to much for too long. I'm trying my hand out with pillowcase dresses and a wrap too hold my munchkin in. I'm not as creative as my mother. Lord that woman could turn rags into art! I'll have to show you some stuff later. As of now I just thought I'd say hello and introduce myself and my family.
